FAQ

What sets you apart from other photographers?

I think the biggest thing that separates me from other photographers is my sheer attention to detail.

I’m a perfectionist by nature, and I’ll never deliver a gallery without making absolutely certain that every detail in every photo is just right. In addition, I pay close attention to any concerns, insecurities and special requests my clients wish to share with me, keeping them in mind not only while I shoot, but while I edit as well.

Photoshop is an art in and of itself, and one that I’ve spent so much time, money, and effort on studying and mastering. I want to create images of you that you’ll want to show off immediately… not images that you feel need a touch of FaceTune “editing” first before posting them on Facebook. Most photographers charge extra (quite a bit extra, in fact) for this level of precision in their editing, but I do it as my standard practice.

Client satisfaction is at the very top of my list of important things. If you love the "you" I've captured in your images– then, and only then, will I consider it a "job well-done".

Are you an inclusive photographer?

WITHOUT A DAMN QUESTION I AM!!!

To me, inclusivity is the bare minimum that any good photographer should exemplify. For me, CELEBRATION is a more accurate word.

As your photographer, I choose to CELEBRATE you and who you are– regardless of your gender, race, sexuality, identity, body type, family dynamic, background, education level or social class. The only people I refuse to photograph are those who disagree with that statement. In other words, I won't take your photos if you're an ignorant asshole. Otherwise... come one, come all!!!

Do you require a deposit or contract?

YES, I do!

Upon booking any of my photography services, I require a contract to be signed and deposit to be paid. Until these two things are completed, your desired date/time is still up for grabs.

How long will it take to get my photos?

In most cases, I will deliver a "sneak peek" (a handful of edited images) within 3 days.

Then, I will deliver the completed, fully-edited gallery within 3 weeks.

Do you give out RAW files?

No.

Not only are RAW files not an accurate representation of my finished work, but these files require a specific kind of platform/software to access, view, and edit. Essentially, they would be unusable in most cases.

Trust me friend, you don't want them.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely!

My standard payment plan is 50% due upon booking (deposit), 50% due the day of your session.

I offer alternate payment plans as needed, so if the 50/50 plan doesn't work for you, we can create a plan that works for both of us.

How will I get my photos back?

When your photos are ready, you'll receive an email from me with a link to the Pixiset platform, where you will have complete and total access to your entire gallery.

From there, you'll be able to organize, download, print, and share any and all photos as you please.

Clients may also choose to purchase prints, albums, etc. directly through the site, but will always have free access to all digital files as part of their purchased package.
